Open Day at Westenhanger Castle

Local people and visitors to the area will have the chance to look around Westenhanger Castle and its grounds on an open day on Saturday 30 November.

The event has been organised by Folkestone & Hythe District Council, who bought the historic castle earlier this year to ensure its future as a community asset. If plans for Otterpool Park are approved, the castle, its barns and extensive grounds will become a centrepiece for the new garden town.

Members of the public are being invited to see this fantastic historic asset for themselves. Join the open day at Westenhanger Castle on Saturday 30 November between 10am and 2pm.
