Community life
Put down roots and feel at home at Otterpool Park. We’re creating a whole new place to live, work and enjoy and have considered everything that a community needs to grow and flourish. Everyone’s welcome here.
We’re already working with the community to build connections and shape and grow our identity right from the start.
Events at Otterpool Park
Get to know your neighbours, get involved in your community, learn a new skill or get creative at one of our community events.
There’s always something going on at Otterpool Park and we believe that building community connections, relationships and networks starts from before work on the development begins.
Next generation education
Living close to a good school is a top priority when choosing a new home. We want to give young people the best start in life and are ambitious about providing schools at Otterpool Park that will help everyone reach their potential. We’re making it safe and easy to walk and cycle to school here.
Over the next 30 years up to eight primary schools and two secondary schools will be built, with the first school ready for the first residents, neighbouring communities and their families from the very outset.
Leisure time
We understand that your free time is precious, so we’ve made it easy to make time for leisure, everyday.
Start your day the active way by biking or walking to the station, work or school – it’s all within easy reach. Meet a friend in the town centre for coffee. Try a fitness class or stop by the community allotment. Play cricket at the weekend.
Otterpool Park’s vibrant town centre is the hub for community life – with public spaces, coffee shops and restaurants, shops and places to meet. This area links into Otterpool Park’s neighbourhoods with nature trails, 30km of bike and walking routes and country parks all providing space to play, rest and recharge.
Local Area
Otterpool Park is the perfect location for exploring the local area, with easy access into the surrounding countryside, local towns and villages, including Folkestone, a cultural hotspot and Hythe, both situated on the beautiful Kent coast.
Enjoy a fantastic quality of life, without compromise, with easy access to London in an hour if you need to get there. But why would you, when you’ll have the countryside, coast and culture on your doorstep?
